Living in Budapest, Anastasia Razvalyaeva divides her time between performing and teaching. Anastasia was born in Russia, in 1993 her family moved to Hungary, where she began learning the harp with her mother. In 2011 she gained her Masters’ Diploma at the Liszt Academy in Budapest under the guidance of Andrea Vigh. In 2019 she earned her Doctor of Liberal Arts degree. As a keen learner, Anastasia has followed masterclasses with renowned international harpists. Apart from masterclasses Anastasia has been taking regular private lessons from Milda Agazaryan in 2000-2001 in Moscow, with Erika Waardenburg in 2009 in Amsterdam, and with Germaine Lorenzini in 2014 in Lyon.
Among her notable achievements, Anastasia received the Kult50 Award in 2020 for her interpretation of Schubert’s Winterreise, performed with soprano Emőke Baráth and directed by Eszter Novák. In 2024, she was honored with the Artisjus Performing Artist Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the performance and promotion of contemporary Hungarian music. She enjoys collaborating with composers and takes part in numerous contemporary projects, such as Duo SeRa saxophone and harp duo, commissioning new pieces. Her experimental trio project with jazz musicians, Veronika Harcsa and Márton Fenyvesi released an album, Debussy NOW! in 2021 by the BMC Records. In 2025, the same label released Schubert NOW!, created in collaboration with Veronika Harcsa and composer Bálint Bolcsó.
Since 2012 Anastasia has been teaching at the Franz Liszt Music Academy and since 2020 at the Szent István Király Music Highschool. She has given masterclasses at Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2017, 2023), at Zagreb Academy of Music (2021), and the 2nd Ceren Necipoğlu İstanbul International Harp Festival (2025). Anastasia is the artistic director of the International Harp Competition in Szeged – established in 2007 -, and has been organizing educational projects for young harpists in Hungary. She has been invited as jury member at the National Polish Harp Competition in Bielsko-Biała (2023), at the 10th Szeged Altamira International Guitar Competition and the 2nd Ceren Necipoğlu İstanbul International Harp Festival and Competition (2025).
