Vincent Ghadimi studied music at the Conservatoires of Brussels and Rotterdam where he earned his master’s degree in piano and chamber music in the class of Aquilles Delle-Vigne. He further studied for three years at the Ecole Normale Alfred Cortot in Paris under Nelson Delle-Vigne-Fabbri, followed master classes with Lazar Berman ,Zoltan Kocsis , Andrei Nikolsky, Peter Eicher and did courses in Mannheim, at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Summer Festival in Flaine and at the Ecole Normale Alfred Cortot in Paris.

Vincent Ghadimi also won two international piano contests (1993: Rotterdam “Doelen”, 1995 : Spain “Ibiza international piano competition”).

He performed in Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Portugal, Italy and in Spain: “ample gesture, elastic touch, impressive dynamics, his music is well built…” Martine Dumont-Mergeay (La libre Belgique ).

Next to his pianistic career, he composes many works (composer Joaquin Rodrigo was the first to encourage him to do so) among which some are dedicated to great performers: Ronald Van Spaendonck, Benjamin Rawitz, Jan Michiels, Roberto Plano, Sophie Hallynck, Martine Reyners…

Vincent Ghadimi has also taken choral conducting courses with Denis Menier and Xavier Haag.

Today he devotes himself mainly to pedagogy (teaching the piano and chamber music at the music academy of Brussels). In this, his encounter with Tibetan Buddhism has deeply influenced his approach to music. It is no longer a matter of “creating” music, but rather of letting music emerge just like a gardener would provide the right conditions for his flowers to open.
